Description
The fantastic colour and texture of this part of a birch tree in our local park caught our attention. the varying greens of the lichen and mould almost make it look like an aerial view of some terrain. However it also made us think that the tree had put it's camouflage suit on and was trying to hide in plain sight. We had also had a little snow which just covered the bowl where the branches met. So simple and yet so intricate, how clever nature is. A whole world in miniature.
